The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC)

Established in 1998, the WBDC is a not-for-profit organization that promotes economic development through entrepreneurship. WBDC offers comprehensive business education and increased access to financial resources as essential business tools to economic independence. WBDC is especially committed to women who are socially and economically challenged, as well as economic empowerment for girls.

Entrepreneurial Center at Hartford College for Women

Trains individuals to start and grow their own businesses. Aspiring entrepreneurs of all income levels are encouraged to participate. Services available to income-eligible individuals on a sliding scale. A variety of loan programs are available for program graduates.

NAWBO - National Association of Women Business Owners- CT Chapter

National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the state chapter of a national organization dedicated to advancing the education, mentoring, and empowerment of women business owners by: strengthening the wealth creating capacity of our members, building strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations, transforming public policy, influencing opinion and affecting changes in business culture, and providing a positive support network.

Network of Executive Women

The mission of the Network of Executive Women is to attract, retain and advance women in the retail and consumer products industry through education, leadership and business development.

Entrepreneurial Woman's Network

The Entrepreneurial Woman's Network was established in 1982 as a small, informal networking and support group. The group met regularly for lunch where women shared their thoughts, problems and successes with other women entrepreneurs. Today, EWN has helped thousands of women succeed in their business careers. From professionals to local business owners, EWN offers business workshops, luncheon speaker events, and our popular Mastermind Groups.

Connecticut Women's Council

The Connecticut Women’s Council (CWC) is a greater Hartford area organization of business and professional women. CWC contributes to the personal and professional lives of women whose paths might not otherwise cross through its unique programs, interesting special events and community involvement. CWC fosters mutual support, networking, career and personal development and intellectual stimulation among its members and is a catalyst for women to connect, collaborate, learn from one another and become friends.
